I have always believed that technology should not hard to use, but this is unfortunately not the case. I have helped friends, family, and customers with technology for years and I've discovered two fundamental problems:
- Technology companies make decisions based on profitability (or plain stupiditiy) that harms people's ability to use their products.
- Simple and understandable instructions and reference is hard to find or non-existant in many cases.
As things are now, I can't do much about the first one. The second though, that's something I can help with.
Below you will find my attempt to compress the years of knowledge and training that I have into small, bite-sized tutorials that explain these varied and complicated subjects in far simpler ways. Each article is full of "compressed sections" that can be expanded by clicking the "[+]" symbols if you want more data. If not, you can skip over the detailed information making the article fast and easy to read.
Enjoy!
