Computer & Internet Safety For Normal People

I have always believed that technology should not hard to use, but this is unfortunately not the case. I have helped friends, family, and customers with technology for years and I've discovered two fundamental problems:

1. Technology companies make decisions based on profitability (or plain stupiditiy) that harms people's ability to use their products.
2. Simple and understandable instructions and reference is hard to find or non-existant in many cases.

As things are now, I can't do much about the first one. The second though, that's something I can help with.

Below you will find my attempt to compress the years of knowledge and training that I have into small, bite-sized tutorials that explain these varied and complicated subjects in far simpler ways. Each article is full of "compressed sections" that can be expanded by clicking the "[+]" symbols if you want more data. If not, you can skip over the detailed information making the article fast and easy to read.
