Legal nastiness should be short and easy to understand. Please take a few moments to read it.

Privacy Policy

Our server tracks some statistics about people who visit the site in order to gauge bandwidth, access, and other administratoin related details, but we can't see that stuff. They give us access to information that lets us know which parts of our site are popular, but that's about it. I think they show us IP number too (which could be used to uniquely identify a computer that accesses us), but we don't do anything with it unless we have a reason to. If you submit data to us (comments, e-mails, etc), yeah, we'll have that too and you're agreeing we can use it for whatever we want. Other than that, we really don't have any information on you. Note that we can't lose or abuse what we don't have.

Terms of Service

Our site has a wealth of useful information that can be used to better protect yourself against abusive business and government practices, legal or otherwise. In return for this information, we ask only that you respect our copyrights, use commmon sense when contacting us (don't make overly-long messages, don't contact us when you're angry, don't send us flames), and spread the word (tell other people if our site was useful to you)!

Please remember that just because I describe a particualar situation in one place and time, doesn't mean that it will work the same way for you. Even if my article appears to suggest a course of action, I can't be responsible for the decisions you make. Though law (as it pertains to consumers) is an interest of mine, I am not a legal authority in any way. Do not misconstrue tips, tricks, or methods described here as legal advice.

Honest Policy

This site contains no tricks, no manipulations, and as little propaganda and bias as I could manage to limit myself to. Yes, it's nice to make money, but as far as I'm concerned, ethics come first.

We reserve all rights to the work on this page. We do, however, encourage you to share the information you find here orally or through printouts of one or two articles as long as they are clearly marked with our web address so the recipients/readers of those printouts can find the source page. When in doubt, just ask and we can tell you what kinds of use of our information is ok.

We also try hard to respect the copyright of others. Any use of copyrighted works without permission is purely accidental and will be immediately rectified upon receiving sufficient proof of copyright.
